He will report on the findings of his state task force on the prevention of sexual violence against women.

This is sponsored by the Saint Marys College Womens Issues Office and is open to the public at no charge. Tomah church sets test TOMAH, Wis. St. Marys Catholic Church in Tomah will have its annual Fall Festival Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15-16.

Minnesota Attorney General Hubert H. Humphrey III will discuss sexual TRUE INTIMACY The ability to share our innermost feelings and thoughts is an important part of any close relationship. But reaching intimacy can be difficult to accomplish. During his program, Building Intimacy and Closeness in Relationships, marriage and family therapist Jeff Reiland discusses problems that often prevent adults from developing and maintaining intimate relationships. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their concerns so they can better understand and recognize their capacity for intimacy.

today and a Scripture service at 8 p.m. Joseph L. Woods Joseph L. Woods, 85, formerly of 1513 S. Seventh La Crosse, died on Monday, Sept.

10, 1990, at Hill-view Health Care Center. He was bom Aug. 1, 1905, in Stockbridge, to Joseph and Margaret (Mortell) Woods. He married Mabel Ann Gutweiler on March 8, 1936, in Appleton, Wis. She died on March 4, 1988.

He had worked for Ebner Construction Co. and several other area construction companies. He was an avid sportsman. He is survived by a son, James (Sharon) Woods of La Crosse; three daughters, Trudy (Robert) Christenson of Racine, Donna (John) Elkins and Roxanne (James) Lonkoski, both of La Crosse; a stepdaughter, Doris (James) Mathews of Muscoda, four grandchildren; five stepgrandchil-dren; and a brother, Mike (Onie) Woods of Kaukauna, Wis. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 1:30 p.m., at the Schumach-er-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. The Rev. Allen Jakubowski will officiate. Burial will be in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Erickson Raymond L. Erickson, 85, of 2421 George died at the Ona-laska Care Center on Monday, Sept. 10, 1990. He was bom April 20, 1905, at Mindoro, to Alfred and Jennie (Olson) Erickson. He married Leone Wetzel and she preceded him in death on Nov.

23, 1980. He then married Leona Kerska. He had been a production manager for the La Crosse Trailer Co. prior to his retirement. He was a member of La Crosse Elks Lodge 300, was a charter member of the UW-L cardiac rehabilitation program and was an avid golfer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mary Bell, in Portugal; by a son, Lynn Erickson of Simi Valley, by a sister, Jessie Rae Biggerstaff of Baltimore, by a stepdaughter, Jaqueline (Tom) Dekeryel, in Utah; a stepson, Gary (Linda) Sarner of Waukesha; by 14 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church. The Rev.

Gertrude M. Ebersold TREMPEALEAU, Wis. Gertrude N. Ebersold, 76, Trempealeau, died Monday, Sept. 10,.

1990, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse. She was bom June 23, 1914, in the town of Caledonia, to William and Anna (Deeren) Stellpflug. She married Ralph Ebersold in 1935. He died in 1968.

Survivors are four sons, Dale of Vincennes, Michael of Tomah and James and John, both of Trempealeau; five daughters, Mary Ann Killian of Fond du Lac, Pat Stoner of Galesville, Carol Brush of Ona-laska and Janet Vondrasek and Irene Borneman, both of Trempealeau; 29 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and a brother, Ambrose Stellpflug of Galesville. In addition to her husband, a daughter, Adeline S. Kelsey MELROSE, Wis. Adeline S. Kelsey, 79, formerly of Melrose, died Monday, Sept.

10, 1990, at Pine View Nursing Home, Black River Falls, where she was a resident. She was bom Dec. 3, 1910, in West Salem to William and Lydia (Schaller) Bahnub. She graduated from West Salem High School in 1929. She married Jess Kelsey Sept.

8, 1934, in West Salem, at the home of her parents. They lived in the Coulee Region for the first few years of their marriage and then moved to Rockford, 111., where she resided for 20 years. They returned in 1960 to the community of Melrose, where she was actively involved. She had been an elementa-ryspecial education teacher for over 30 years, retiring in 1976. Survivors are her husband of Melrose; a son and his wife, Daniel and Linda Kelsey of DeWitt, a daughter and her husband, Dia and Leon Holseth of Bangor; four grandchildren, Troy and Kimberly Kelsey and Michael and Michelle Holseth; four sisters, Bertha Reinert of Rockford, 111., Elvira Schmidt of Melrose, Viola Twigg of Black River Falls, Betty (Jack) Anderson of Fargo, N.D.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marie Nash. Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at Melrose United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery.

Friends may call at Smith Mortuary, Melrose, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Thursday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to establish a scholarship in memory of Adeline. John J. Rybarczyk ARCADIA, Wis.

John J. Rybarczyk, 31, of Rowland Heights, and formerly of Arcadia, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 1990, of an apparent heart attack in California. He was bom June 9, 1959, in Arcadia, to Dominic and Rosemary (Lessman) Rybarczyk. He married Nelida G.

Reichert Oct. 14, 1989, in St. Johns Vienny Catholic Church in Hacienda Heights, Calif. He graduated from Arcadia High School in 1977. He was a supervisor at Cacique Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Nelida; his parents, Dominic and Rosemary of Arcadia; four sisters, Geralyn (Brad) Larson of Marshalltown, Iowa, Jane (Mike) Russeau of Winona, Jeanine Rybarczyk of La Crosse, Julie Rybarczyk of Arcadia. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and his grandparents. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

The Rev. James McNamee will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Emma M. Donskey SPARTA, Wis. Emma M. Donskey, 94, of and West Main streets, died Monday, Sept. 10, 1990, in St.

Marys Hospital. She was born on St. Josephs Ridge, La Crosse County, on July 12, 1896, to Jacob and Barbara (De-hegelson) Schumacher. She grew up on St. Josephs Ridge, where she attended school.

On Jan. 18, 1916, she married Michael Donskey. They farmed on Summit Ridge until 1955. He died March 4, 1955. She then moved to Sparta where she worked at St.

Marys Hospital as a cook. She had been an organist at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for many years. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Johns Altar Society.

She is survived by a son, Norbert of Sparta; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Eunice) Shannon of Pardeeville, 12 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren. 10, 1990. She was bom Feb. 17, 1924, in La Crosse to Walter and Wilhelmina (Seiler) Jagodinski. She married Robert N. Hengel on Feb.

2, 1946, in La Crosse. She had worked as a dental assistant for several area dental offices and retired in 1975. She was a member of the American Dental Assistants Association. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Joan M. Buehrle of La Crosse and Jane Goodwine of Gainesville, a son, Nicholas F.

Hengel of Onalaska; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Baxter of La Crosse. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 1:30 p.m. in Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. The Rev. Lawrence B.

Berger will officiate. Burial will be in Wood-lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Miss Marcella Mateju Marcella Mateju, age 99, a resident of St.

Francis Nursing Home, died at her home Monday, Sept. 10, 1990. She was bom in Hokah, Jan. 15, 1891, to Albert and Antonia (Tomasik) Mateju. She is survived by two nieces, Janet Krause of La Crosse and Ann Marie Mateju of Portland, a nephew, Paul Mateju, also of Portland; a sister-in-law, Edna Mateju of La Crosse; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters. Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Nursing Home with the Rev.
