Ole Johnson Elge, 91, died Thursday in a Whitehall hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. Mr. Elge was born Nov. 19, 1869, in the Town of Pigeon and lived his entire life in Trempealeau County. He farmed Vosse Coulee until 1937, when he retired, and lived with neighbors and friends until 1945, when he moved to a Whitehall rest home.

He never married. He is survived by three nieces and two nephews. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Fredenxon Funeral Chapel in Blair, the Rev. Vincent Aaker of the Taylor Lutheran Church officiating, and burial will be in the Trempealeau Valley Cemetery.
