Survivors include three daughters, Betty Davy of llokah, and Sharon Smith and Naomi Pa-taska of La Crosse; a son, Bud Runner, address unknown; and 13 grandchildren, 21 great grambil-dren and two great great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by two daughters, two grandsons, two great gramUons and several sisters and brothers. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m., with a Christian wake aervlce at 8 p.m. Friends may also call from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Holm died suddenly Sunday, Sept, 27, 1987, while vacationing in the Badlands in South Dakota. She was born Jan.

26, 1943, in Arcadia to Hoy and Caroline (Bautch) Taplin. She married Joseph Rohn May 21. 1960. In Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a postal clerk for the Arcadia Post Office for 23 years, and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Society. Survivors are her parents of Arcadia; her husband; two sons, Pat-rick of Galesville and Thomas of Arcadia; two daughters, Bridget Tamky and Vicky Meyer, both of Arcadia; two sisters, Shirley Moli-tor of Arcadia and Debbie Brekke of Winona, and two granddaughters. Mary's Hospital, Sparta, for 13 years, and was employed at the Morrow Nursing Home for the past 10 years, Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Julie Coleman of Free-moot, a son, Steven of Uloomington, three sisters, Marcella Kediske of Sparta, Jca-nette Schwandt of Cashton and Emily Wang of Hampton, three brothers, Roy of Sun Prairie, Carl and Donald, both of Cashton; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday In St. John's Lutheran Church, Sparta.

lie died Sept. 20, JU72. She was a graduate of Galesville High School and La Crosne State Teachers College, She taught at Council Bay, Bortle and Smith country schools, and the Taylor Junior High School. She was also principal of the Caledonia School and Pieasantville School. Turnbull was awarded the Quiz Kids radio show's "Rest Teacher" certificate in 19-18.

She sold Columbus Mutual Insur-. ance in Jackson, and was the Wisconsin sales manager for Book House for Children. She was past president and historian for KowIes-McBride American Legion Auxiliary, Galesville; past president of the Trempealeau County Federation of Republican Women; and a member of the Trempealeau County Historical Society, and Tremp County Retired Teachers Association Survivors are a brother, Shirley W. Hanson of rural Holmen; and seven nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Smith Mortuary, Galesville. The Rev. R. Steven Krueger will officiate.

Burial will be in Green Mound Cemetery, rural Holmen. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Bertha T. Sampson Services for Bertha T.

Sampson, 88, formerly of 2738 Hamilton St. and 1225 Liberty will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, La Crosse. Services will also be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St.

James Catholic Church. The Rev. Bernard Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Sampson died Monday, Sept. 28, 1987, in Bethany-St. Joseph Care Center. She was born in Norwalk on May 28, 1899, to Anton and Cecilia ed Methodist Church, Tomah.

Survivors are her husband; a son, David of Tomah; two brothers, Wilson Spangenburg of Ogden, Utah, and Richard Spangenburg of Port Huron, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday In First United Methodist Church, Tomah. The Rev.

Wesley Schirmer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Garden, Tomah. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at' the White Funeral Home, Tomah. Friends may also call at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.

Thursday. Ida Larson GALESVILLE, Wis. Private services for Ida Larson, 91, Galesville, will be Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Church, Galesville. The Rev. M.C.

Parkhurst will officiate. Burial will be in French Creek Lutheran Church cemetery, rural Ettrick. There will be no visitation. She died Monday, Sept. 28, 1987, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse.

She was born April 17, 1896, in French Creek, to Christian and Mathia (Christenson) Lebakken. She married Helmer Larson June 9, 1921. He died in 1933. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors are a son, Jim of La Crosse; three daughters, Joyce Ekern of Galesville, and LaVonne Larson and Marian Kremenski, both of La Crosse; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, three sisters and five brothers. Smith Mortuary, Galesville, is in charge of arrangements. W. Roy Schallock WESTBY, Wis. W.

Roy Schallock, 70, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1987, in Salem, Oregon, where he resided since 1969. He was born June 9, 1917, to Willis and Elvina Schallock. He was a graduate of Westby High School, the University of Mis-' sissippi and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined the National Guard, serving with the Army in the Pacific theater during World War II.

Schallock was program director for the Oregon Department of Public Welfare until his retirement in 1982. Survivors are two sons, Michael of Anchorage, Alaska, and Maury of Los Angeles, and two sisters, Eda Mae Peterson of Durand, and Bernice Storbakken of Madison. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Viroqua Cemetery. The Rev.

Zezulka died of asphyxiation Sunday, Sept. 27, 1987, near New Albin, Iowa. The death is being investigated by the Allamakee County Sheriff's Department. Zezulka was born April 6, 1959, in Waukon, Iowa, to Earl and Dorothy (Russell) Zezulka. He was a farm worker at the time of his death.

Survivors are his parents of New Albin; four brothers, James and Earl both of Waukon, Arnold of Dorchester and John of Middleton, six sisters, Diana Deeney, Gail Curtin and Angela Zezulka, all of Waukon, and Bonnie Meyer of Spring Grove, Amy Zezulka of Schaumburg, 111., and Carmen McCormick of Postville, Iowa; his maternal grandmother, Sophia Russell of Mazomanie, Wis.
