Unbeaten Indians Rap Superior 95-89 Three LSC Cagers Over 20 Points SUPERIOR. Wis. La Crosse State undefeated basketball team bad an uphill battle here Saturday night, but protected its perfect record by pulling away in the last four minutes for a 95-89 win over Superior. The Indians are 7-0 for the season and now own a 2-0 record in the Wisconsin State College Conference. Superior has a 1-5 seasonal mark and is 0-1 in the conference.

Three La Crosse Larry Tranberg, Doug Potter and Ken over the 20 -point mark in La Crosse 12 th straight victory. The string includes five wins from the 196263 season. Tranberg rifled in nine field goals and six free throws for 24 points. Potter, the team's leading scorer, had 11 baskets and a free throw for 23 and Peterson hit 22 on five goals and 12 free throws.
