City Firm Draws Plans For College Carl Schubert and Associates, La Crosse architectural firm, has made initial plans for an expansion of 30-year-old Mount Senario College, Ladysmith. Initial construction in the expansion program is a $700,000 building which will accommodate; a two-story classroom section, library, lecture room, kitchen, cafe-1 teria, classrooms and dormitory, science laboratory, stu-! dent lounge, book store, teaching laboratories, chapel and other college rooms. Construction is set for 1964. Carl Schubert described plans for the college, on a 70-acre stretch of land along the Flambeau River, as dream for an ideal college Mount Senario operated by the Sisters of the Servants of Mary, currently has about 80 lay and sister students. An estimated 500 to 700 students are planned for the future.

AC Milwaukee has developed and is manufacturing AChiever Inertial Guidance Systems for the Titan II missile. a i a- tion. is under subcontract to AC Nosby Milwaukee to furnish pulse code modulation telemetry systems for the Titan II program. Nosby. formerly of La Crosse, joined AC in 1951 following graduation from the University of Wisconsin where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.

Nosby's early assignments at AC included systems engineer on the bombing navigation system for the Air Force B36. B47 and B52 aircraft, and ground equip- YEP! ment design. of La Crosse will co-sponsor an electro- hydronic meeting for local heating and electrical contractors June 21 in the Dairyland Power Cooperative building. Developments in zoned electro- hydronic heating systems for residential and commercial buildings will be introduced. The other sponsor is Edwards Engineering Corp. of Pompton, Plains, N.Y., a large manufacturer in electro-hvdronic heating. Ray C.

Edwards, president of Edwards, will speak on hot water heating. In heating systems, water for the building heating is heated during the night, when electricity consumption and rates arc low, and stored for use in daytime heating. Mrs. Sias Named New Head Of MLS Mrs. Floyde Sias, Onalaska realtor, has been elected president of the Multiple Listing Service of La Crosse.

Mrs. Sias is a charter member of the group formed in 1957. She also is a member of the Greater La Crosse Board of Realtors, the Wisconsin Realtor Association and the National Association of Real Estate Boards. She has served as secretary of the multiple listing group since its beginning. The organization is a group of 13 real estate firms banded together for the purpose of pooling listings.

Other officers elected at the meeting are; Arthur W. Ginskey, vice president; Lois Nelson, secretary; Joseph L. Wavra, treasurer and clerk; David F. Schams, director for two-year term; Tom A. Wheeler, holdover director for one year.
